Lead Up To Haute Route Alps 2014

It's been over 2-years since four guys clowned around Europe on bikes. As soon as that trip ended we starting thinking about the next. Haute Route Alps 2014.

Lots happens in two years. 

Since 2012, this guy broke a hip, and then just 5 weeks ago, broke his collar bone. Both bike crashes. Both fixed with metal. Both displays of superhuman recuperation. 

Ribs, proud father of two girls, is about to open a new concept in Kits. All energy, all the time. Regram from 2012. Gives some insight as to the value Ribs adds to this type of trip. 

And one of us got a desk job. Imagine trying to train and work.

As for me — just too much of this, motivated by the fear of not being able to keep up with these clowns.

Wilbur's currently in Sicily, cramming for the event, hoping to find the Shark of Messina's (Nibali) secret weapon. 

We fly out Wednesday, August 20. Regular updates should hit daily upon our arrival and reunion in Geneva on Thursday, August 21. Event runs Saturday, August 23 to Saturday, August 31.
